YOUCAT: Youth Catechism of the Catholic Church

YOUCAT is full of quotations references and explanations that help the reader to understand the teaching of the Church. When the YOUCAT was distributed at the World Youth Day in Madrid in six languages no one had any idea of the worldwide success in the next few months. Everywhere in the world young Catholics founded study- and discussion groups they exchanged views on the Internet and conquered their faith with help of using the YOUCAT. To support and inspire the promotion of YOUCAT and to run the international website www.youcat.org the YOUCAT - Center in Augsburg/Germany was founded in 2011. At the moment an organization is founded - the YOUCAT FOUNDATION. With the income of the sale of books and donations the project will be expanded. All over the world young Christians should have access to the YOUCAT to work with it especially in poor countries. ''Study this Catechism! This is my heartfelt desire.
