About

Dr Jackie Phahlamohlaka completed his MSc in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Dalhousie University Canada and his PhD in Information Technology at the University of Pretoria South Africa. He is currently a Chief Researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). He is the founder of SEIDET and the Chairman of its Board of Directors. He completed the Executive National Security Programme (ENSP) at the South African National Defence College in 2007. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Information Technology Professionals of South Africa and is a member of the South African National Committee for the International Federation for Information Processing. His research interests are in ICT and socio-economic development web-based group support systems broadband access and national security.
