About

Kim Porter is a composer and singer who studied at Manchester University. As a postgraduate she wrote music for the drama department's productions of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Büchner's Woyzeck and composed the score for an Open University BBC TV programme about melodrama. She has since had works commissioned by ensembles such as ORA Singers and the BBC Singers. She is a member of The Sixteen and sings with several other leading vocal groups in Britain.
