About

J. S. Lather obtained his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from SV National Institute of Technology Surat in 1990. He obtained his M.Tech. degree in Control Systems in 1993 from REC Kurukshetra and PhD degree in the area of robust control in 2004 from Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra. He joined REC Kurukshetra faculty in 1994. He has 30 years of experience in teaching and research at NIT Kurukshetra. Currently he serves as a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra. His research areas include robust control time delay systems microgrid operations and control multi-agent systems consensus and control and machine learning applications to engineering systems.   Arunesh Kumar Singh is affiliated with the Department of Electrical Engineering at Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi. He completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering and obtained his M.Tech. in Engineering Systems from the Faculty of Engineering Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed University) Dayalbagh Agra in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University) New Delhi in 2011. Moreover he was granted a Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF) for 17 months from the University of Saskatchewan under Discovery Grant-NSERC Canada to pursue research in Neuro-Control Systems. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching and industry and actively guides research scholars at UG PG and Ph.D. levels. His research areas comprise intelligent systems neuro-control systems energy systems electric vehicle control eddy current braking systems and neuro and machine controls. Recently he has got a research grant of 50 Lakhs approx. from SERB for a research project on smart eddy current systems. He has published numerous research papers in prestigious national and international journals and conferences.   Gangireddy Sushnigdha earned her B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from JNTU Kakinada Andhra Pradesh India in 2010 and her M.Tech degree with a specialization in Control Systems from Electrical Engineering National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra India in 2012. She then pursued her Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay India in 2019. Since 2019 she has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat India. She has 16 publications in reputed Journals and International Conferences. Her research interests include guidance and trajectory optimization of entry vehicles path planning of autonomous vehicles developing meta-heuristic algorithms and application of artificial intelligence-based techniques to optimal control problems. She has been honored with a gold medal for achieving the top position among graduating students in M.Tech Control Systems from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra.
