About Michael Zechmann

Mike Zechmann grew up in South Georgia in a small town called Waycross where he learned the value of a dollar and the satisfaction of an honest days work by giving alligator boat tours through the Okefenokee Swamp each summer as a teen. After high school graduation Mike moved to Baltimore Maryland to attend the Johns Hopkins University with the goal of becoming a surgeon. He quickly changed his major to Applied Mathematics and Statistics (with a minor in Entrepreneurship) because he was good with numbers and enjoyed working with them. He earned his degree in only three years and immediately started working in the financial services industry where he remains to this day. An avid tennis player Mike met his wife Rebeca while playing club tennis during his college years at Johns Hopkins. The couple lives outside Baltimore with their two beautiful daughters Catherine and Madeline. Mike continues to play in USTA tennis leagues around Maryland and also enjoys outdoor physical activities such as golf running skiing biking hiking spending time on the beach and attending sporting events. Hes a huge Minnesota Vikings fan and frankly hes as baffled by that fact as everyone else.
