About Luke S. DuesberyTodd M. Twyman
Luke Duesbery is a Professor at San Diego State University where he has taught in the Departments of Special Education and Teacher Education for more than ten years. Before that he was a classroom teacher in both Virginia and Oregon in multiple subject areas and multiple grades. His interest is in bridging the gap between research and practice. His areas of research include understanding research though graphical representations of data critical thinking and creativity and alternative and innovative research methods like action research. Todd Twyman is a Professor in the School of Learning and Teaching at Pacific University where he primarily teaches action research. He was a high school social studies teacher in San Francisco prior to earning his Ph.D. at the University of Oregon where he specialized in tests and measurement. His research interests include test development and bridging the research to practice gap.
