The Stoclet Palace was one of the grandest monuments of the Art Nouveau era. Klimt decorated three walls of the dining room with a mosaic frieze consisting of nine panels. Central to this Stoclet Frieze, The Tree of Life suggests the biblical Garden of Eden, the seasons, life and death and more.
