About Miranda Wilson

Miranda Wilson is a New Zealand-American cellist who has performed as a soloist and chamber musician on five continents. She is Professor of Cello at the University of Idaho and the author of Cello Practice Cello Performance (2015) The Well-Tempered Cello: Life with Bach's Cello Suites (2022) and Teaching Violin Viola Cello and Double Bass (co-authored with Dijana Ihas and Gaelen McCormick 2023). She is a regular contributor to Strings and other music journals.
