Jeong-Hyun Cho is Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering at University of Minnesota USA. After his Ph.D. in engineering science from Washington State University USA he worked for two years at The Johns Hopkins University USA and three years at the Los Alamos National Laboratory USA as a postdoctoral researcher. He joined University of Minnesota in 2013 and his research focuses on three-dimensional (3D) multifunctional micro- and nanostructures for devices. He received several awards including the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award from the National Science Foundation in 2015 and the Achievement Award at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2011. He has published 43 journal articles and is well-known as a pioneer in the field of surface patterning on 3D micro- and nanostructures.
