Chapter Three discusses recent advances in nonlinear shock vibration isolation. Chapter Four examines the modeling of biological neuron by electronic circuit and application for IC and MEMS microrobot. In Chapter Five, after an introductory part dealing with the basic of cosmic ray physics and with the main properties of the cosmic ray time variations, several numerical analyses of cosmic ray data collected by a neutron monitor station in small time steps over more than 50 years has been carried out with different methods, to investigate periodical and non-periodical patterns.
