Ceramic-matrix composites (CMCs) possess high specific strength and specific modulus and have already been applied in hot-section components of aeroengines. The book focuses on the design, fabrication and testing of different CMC components, e.g., turbine guide vanes, combustor liner, and turbine blisk, etc. The high-temperature mechanical properties, and performance requirements of the aeroengines were also introduced. The book can better help the engineering designers understand the methods used in design and testing of CMC components.
