About Professor Maurice Herman

Professor Maurice Herman is an award-winning architect educator and illustrator. He loves to draw. Hes a subject matter expert whos taught perspective rendering and sketching for more than 20 years. His illustrations have appeared in numerous books academic journals newspapers and magazines including the New York Times and Architectural Record. He holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in design from the California Institute of the Arts and a masters degree in architecture from UCLA. His first job after graduation was as an apprentice to famed architectural illustrator Carlos Diniz. He currently lives and teaches in Los Angeles.
