Battling his own ghosts and another case from his personal past, Matiu quickly realizes that he needs to solve both cases so he can lay those ghosts to rest.

Matiu and Violet have been communicating since that tragic night in Charleston. When circumstances send Matiu to New York, they cant deny that there is a strong connection between them, and their attraction blossoms.

So does the danger.

Forced back to Charleston, Matiu leaves New York. But when Violets life is threatened, he is desperate, more than ever, to get back and save her.
