She doesnt refer to them by name, but by their own dedicated colour in the spectrum. ELISA L. IANNACONE is an extraordinary camerawoman who has worked in over 25 countries across Africa Asia Australia Europe America and the Middle East. Her vast experience has given her a unique perspective of the world and her work is both evocative and accomplished. Working as a photojournalist Elisa has delivered work for the likes of National Geographic BBC World News and Vice and to much acclaim. With an MA in International Journalism from City University London Elisa has covered challenging environments from the Rabaa massacre in Cairo to domestic violence within Iraqi refugee camps. Elisa is the creator of The Spiral of Containment: Rapes Aftermath an art exhibition exploring the impact of rape through 25 survivors photographs. Using her creative photography skills she has tapped into the realm of the imagination to portray a deeply emotional subject. Elisas greatest strength is her ability to use natural surroundings to bring out real beauty even when taking headshots and her understanding of tone and lighting allows her to create pictures that truly stand out. Elisa is currently living in London but with bases all over the world and an insatiable sense of adventure shes always travelling for that next project.
