Cameron''s Choice

English

By (author): Angela Bettoni

Things are not going well for talented, twelve-year-old dancer Cameron. Not only has his dad walked out on the family, but things are no longer the same between him and his best friend. As he tries to navigate through these turbulent life changes, his relationship with his older brother Derek continues to worsen. Camerons pursuit to impress his brother and mould himself into a cool guy leads him down a questionable path, letting down the people that truly care about him. Can he rely on his new friends? Will he be able to salvage his friendship with Daniel? Its all up to Cameron in Camerons choice. Camerons Choice perfectly captures the mindset of a young boy during a turbulent time of change and growth. It shines a light on the struggles of grappling with identity during adolescence, as well as the aftermath of when a parent leaves the family home. See more
