About Lilly Higgins

Lilly Higgins comes from a family of ten and was born and raised in Cobh Co. Cork. She has taught at Ballymaloe Cookery School and writes a popular blog lillyhiggins.ie. Her first book Make Bake Love was a bestseller. She is a weekly columnist and photographer for the Sunday Business Post as well as writing regularly for various Irish and UK magazines and newspapers. She is a guest chef on RTÉ afternoon television and presenter of RTÉ2s Irelands Best Young Baker. She also starred in Fancy Vittles a comedy and cookery show with her sister Maeve. Lilly ran a monthly supper club for a year which formed the basis of her delicatessen dreams. Lilly lives in Cobh with her partner Colm and two small sons.
