Domestic and Sexual Violence and Abuse

This book contains six selected chapters on domestic and sexual violence and abuse. Chapter One evaluates psychomotor intervention in intimate partner violence, focusing on empirical support for preventive and therapeutic approaches. Chapter Two examines sexual assault in the military, seeking the risk factors and root causes of the issue. Chapter Three reviews the influence of abuse on obesity and metabolic pathologies associated with neglect of feeding in adolescents. Chapter Four looks at mindfulness and meditation-based interventions for intimate partner violence.
