About the AuthorRich Carriero is a test prep expert and has been teaching and tutoring for standardized tests and developing verbal content for 20 years. He has a B.S. in English and he scored in the 99th percentile on the verbal and writing sections of the GRE and in the 99th percentile on the GMAT. He started his career at Kaplan Test Prep where he was a teacher and a tutor for the SAT ACT GRE GMAT and TOEFL for 11 years. Carriero then obtained a TESOL Certificate and taught ESL and TOEFL prep classes in Istanbul Turkey working with students to prepare them for American standardized tests. After returning to the U.S.Carriero taught ACT GRE and GMAT prep to students at the University of Colorado.
