About

Dr. Georges Abdul-Nour is an Emeritus Professor at the Department of Industrial engineering Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières Canada. He received his Bachelors and Master Degrees in IE from the Université de Moncton N.B. Canada. He completed his PhD at Texas Tech University; Lubbock Texas U.S.A. Dr. Abdul-Nour authored and co-authored 25 books and books chapters and more than 450-refereed papers in international journals and conferences proceeding and technical reports. His research interest is in fields such as Intelligent Asset Management Complexes Systems Resilience Reliability and Maintenance Intelligent Manufacturing I4.0 I5.0 and IX.0. Lean-Six Sigma and JIT (TPS). He is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Production Research (IJPR) and on the Board of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management (ISEAM). Professor Abdul-Nour is a registered member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ). He served as Chair of Engineering School and of Research Institute on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) (INRPME) at UQTR. He is an Elected Member of the Academy of Industrial Engineering of Texas Tech. Dr. Abdul-Nour hold the HQ/NSERG Research Chair in Asset-Management and He is a Fellow of ISEAM Minh Ngoc Dinh is an Associate Professor in Computer Science and currently serving as the Deputy Dean for Research & Innovation at the School of Science Engineering & Technology RMIT University Vietnam. Dr. Minh Ngoc Dinh received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Monash University Australia. His research interest is in Computational Science High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Dr Dinhs expertise is developed through his previous positions at Monash University The University of Queensland and the Queensland Cyber Infrastructure Foundation. He has a strong track record in research & development (R&D) with excellent communication and project management skills. Dr. Dinh recently founded a tech startup aims to empower Vietnamese businesses with AI.   Turuna Seecharan obtained her Ph.D. degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo Canada specializing in Robust Design Optimization using Metamodels. She is a licensed Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario and a board member of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management. Presently she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Her current research interests are Gamification and the role of Human Factors in Asset Management.   Adolfo Crespo Márquez is currently Full Professor at the School of Engineering of the University of Seville and recently Head of the Department of Industrial Management. He holds a Ph.D. with Honors in Industrial Engineering from this same University. He is included in the Stanford Universitys list of world top-scientists in 2023 and he received the Spanish Maintenance Award from the Spanish Maintenance Association (AEM) in 2020. His research works have been published in journals such as Reliability Engineering and System Safety International Journal of Production Research International Journal of Production Economics European Journal of Operations Research Omega Decision Support Systems and Computers in Industry among others. Prof. Crespo is the author of 9 books and Editor of 8 books with Springer Aenor IGI Global and INGEMAN about maintenance warranty supply chain and assets management. Professor Crespo is Fellow and Director of ISEAM (International Society of Engineering Assets Management) Editor-in-Chief of the Springer Book Series Engineering and Asset Management Review and leads the Spanish Research Network on Assets Management and the Spanish Committee for Maintenance Standardization (1995-2003). He also leads the SIM (Sistemas Inteligentes de Mantenimiento) research group related to maintenance and dependability management and has extensively participated in many engineering and consulting projects for different companies for the Spanish Departments of Defense Science and Education as well as for the European Commission (IPTS). He is the President of INGEMAN (a National Association for the Development of Maintenance Engineering in Spain) since 2002.   Dragan Komljenovic received a BSc from the University of Tuzla an MSc from the University of Belgrade a first PhD from Université Laval in 2002 and a second PhD from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in 2018. He works as a Senior Research Scientist at Hydro-Québecs research institute (IREQ) in the field of reliability resilience asset management and risk analysis. He has also worked as a reliability and nuclear safety engineer at Gentilly-2 nuclear power plant Hydro-Québec. Dragan collaborates with several universities and has published more than 120 refereed journal and conference papers. He is a Fellow of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management (ISEAM) and Vice President of the Montreal Chapter of Society of Reliability Engineers (SRE). Dragan has the status of professional engineer in the province of Quebec Canada.   Joe Amadi-Echendu (BSc MSc DPhil CEng PrEng FISEAM) is a Professor of Engineering and Technology Management at the Graduate School of Technology Management University of Pretoria South Africa. Joe is a registered professional engineer in both UK and South Africa and has more than 38 years of work experience in industry and academia. Joe is a founding Fellow of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management (ISEAM) the current chair of the board of directors of ISEAM; as well as a current board member and treasurer of International Association for the Management of Technology (IAMOT). Professor Amadi-Echendu is the founding Editor-in-Chief of Engineering Asset Management Review series publication by Springer.   Joseph Mathew is the CEO of the Asset Institute and an Adjunct Professor at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. He was previously Queensland University of Technologys Head of School in the School of Mechanical Manufacturing and Medical Engineering. Prior to arriving in Brisbane in 2000 Joe was Monash Universitys Professor of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering and was Deputy Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He was also the Executive Director of Monashs Centre for Machine Condition Monitoring from 1993-1999 a research centre that he co-founded. Joe is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in academia academic administration research and research management and consulting. Joe specialises in asset management integrated frameworks and systems for asset management as well as condition monitoring diagnostics and prognostics of machine
