Photographs submitted, and then juried, by more than 50 photographers, most of whom reside full-time in New Mexico, A Year or So in the Life of New Mexico photographically explores New Mexico's diverse cultures, the daily lives of its people at work and at play, their struggles and their triumphs.

Certainly there is more to New Mexico than the sheer beauty of the State. These photographs honour New Mexico traditions from the beloved rodeo to historical moments and monuments, to state fairs. It also salutes New Mexico's many heroes who often go unnoticed.
