Broadband Deployment in Unserved and Underserved Areas: Policies and Programs

Broadband Internet service provides users and their communities with many opportunities to improve communications, including enhancements in e-commerce, telemedicine, and educational tools, and can drive economic growth, productivity, and innovation. Broadband is particularly critical to provide advanced communications to remote communities and offer rural Americans new ways to participate in our economy and society.
