Chair of the Gynecologic Oncology Centre General University Hospital of Charles University in Prague since 2003; president of the European Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ESGO) (20152017); founder and chair of the collaborative group in gynecologic oncology: Central and Eastern European Gynecologic Oncology Group (www.ceegog.eu); chair of the ESGO working group on Clinical Practice Guidelines in Cervical Cancer (20162022); chair of the Czech Society of Gynecologic Oncology; author or co-author of more than 350 peer-reviewed articles. David Cibulas special interest has always been in cervical cancer. He has published dozens of scientific papers about the management of cervical cancer served as the principal investigator of several academic international trials on the management of cervical cancer (SENTIX; ABRAX; CERVANTES; SCCAN) chaired international working groups (ESGO) on clinical practice guidelines and quality indicators on cervical cancer and produced a popular series of instructional surgical films on radical surgery in gynecologic oncology.
