About

Barry Callaghan was Claire Wilks' partner for 47 years. He has published over 20 books. He founded the literary journal Exile A Literary Quarterly (now ELQ/Exile) and in 1976 the publishing house Exile Editions. He remains as editor-in-chief of both. He taught contemporary literature for 37 years and is now Professor Emeritus and Distinguished Scholar York University.Claire Wilks is a Canadian artist who worked in drawing brush drawing lithography monoprinting and sculpture in bronze and clay.
