About

Dr. R. P. Chhabra is Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. He received his M.Sc. degree from the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and his Ph.D. from Monash University both in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Chhabra is a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences the National Academy of Science (India) and the Indian Academy of Engineering. His current research interests include hydrodynamics of non-Newtonian fluid-particle systems; multiphase flow in pipes and packed beds; interaction between non-linear properties of fluids and shapes of particles; and the modeling of Newtonian and non-Newtonian flow in fibrous media.
