Laura Westra holds doctorates in both Philosophy and Jurisprudence and has taught in the fields of philosophy ethics environmental studies and law at several US and Canadian universities. She is the founder of the Global Ecological Integrity Group and author of 22 books including Ecoviolence and the Law Environmental Justice and the Rights of Unborn and Future Generations Environmental Justice and the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and Environmental Justice and the Right of Ecological Refugees.J. Ronald Engel is Senior Research Fellow with the Center for Humans and Nature. Through his academic posts at Meadville/Lombard Theological School and the Divinity School of the University of Chicago Engel helped pioneer the fields of environmental ethics and theology. His books include Sacred Sands (Melcher Book Award) Ethics of Environment and Development (co-editor) and with Klaus Bosselmann and Prue Taylor Governance for Sustainability.Dr. Klaus Bosselmann born in Germany is Professor of Law and Director of the New Zealand Centre for Environmental Law at the University of Auckland.
