This study deals with democracy education in three dimensions. The first of these dimensions is the theory dimension. In this dimension, the pedagogical and theoretical characteristics of the educational activities to be carried out for children, especially in the primary education period, have been tried to be explained. The second part of the study is the presentation of a framework plan to enable the acquisition of democracy consciousness and democratic attitude behaviors by students. The last part of the study consists of activity examples. As a result, this study is designed as an introductory book to be used by teachers and researchers regarding the purpose, content, learning-teaching situations, and evaluation steps related to democracy education, which should be included in the curricula in all countries of the world. About Asm ArEren Akda KurnazGökhan Kayr

Asm Ar has a PhD in curriculum and instruction. He is the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Instruction and the Anatolian Journal of Education. He is currently a professor at Eskiehir Osmangazi University Turkey. Eren Akda Kurnaz received undergraduate education in the field of English language and literature. She has PhD in curriculum and instruction. She is currently working as an English instructor in the Foreign Languages Department of Kütahya Dumlupnar University Turkey. Gökhan Kayr has a bachelor's degree in English language teaching and a master's degree in educational administration and planning. He has a PhD in curriculum and instruction and another PhD in educational research methods and statistics. Özgür Sirem has a PhD in primary education a bachelor's degree in primary education and a master's degree in education programs and teaching. He is currently a specialist with the Ministry of Education's Board of Education and Discipline Turkey.
