Diabeto-Angiology

Inflammation is established as a factor for development of diabetes mellitus. Not much is known about the potentially unique features of inflammatory process in diabetic vascular disease. This book discusses the role of inflammatory biomarkers: C-reactive protein and fibrinogen in initiation and progression of atherosclerosis in diabetic patients and the way of their control.
