About Pardess MitchellRaymond Goldberg
Pardess Mitchell is a professor in the Kinesiology and Health Education Department at Harper College in Palatine Illinois. Prior to working at Harper College Pardess worked as a middle school Health Education teacher. At Harper College she teaches Drugs in Our Culture and several other Health Education classes in both classroom and online settings. Pardess received her bachelor's in Health Education from the University of Maryland her master's in Health Education from Southern Illinois University and her doctorate in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Illinois University. Raymond Goldberg was a professor of Health Education at the State University of New York where he taught a variety of drug-related courses authored numerous articles on health- and drug-related topics and received several significant research grants for his work in Health and Drug education. He also served as the Associate Dean for the School of Professional Studies. In addition Ray was the dean of Health Sciences at Vance-Granville Community College in North Carolina. Ray earned a PhD in Health Education from the University of Toledo. He currently serves as a Drug Education Consultant.
