Game of Love

English

By (author): Jean Rossetta

Four weeks ago, Deidre Bird was just one of many struggling young actresses trying to find work in Hollywood; today, her jet-black hair and bright blue eyes are known to millions. As hostess of the nationally televised Ho Ho Game Show, Deidre has become a star virtually overnight. A lot of women would die for a job like hersand for the chance to be near Sean Squires, Ho Hos gorgeous host. But Deidre couldnt be more miserable!

For starters, everyone on the set seems to hate her, and she cant figure out why. Sean in particular seems to have it in for her. How could anybody that good-looking be so nasty? she wonders. But is it really hate at first sight? Or something else? Deidre may never have a chance to find out. She finds herself pitted against superstar actress Shelly More in the battle for Seans affections, and a spiteful Hollywood gossip columnist adds fuel to the fire. To top it off, Ho Hos ratings are sinking, and the shows director wants Deidre fired.

So much for the glamorous life!
