Claude Diebolt is CNRS Research Professor of Economics (esp. cliometrics) at the University of Strasbourg. He is Founding President of the Association Francaise de Cliometrie Founding Managing Editor of the journal Cliometrica (Springer) member of the Board of Trustees of the Cliometric Society and of the Governing Board of the Association Francaise de Science Economique. Since January 2013 Claude Diebolt is Fellow of the University of Strasbourg Institute for Advanced Study (USIAS).Mike Haupert is Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. He is the Executive Director of the Cliometric Society having previously served as the editor of the society''''s newsletter for eight years. He is also a member of the Association Francaise de Cliometrie. His interest in cliometrics began when he was a graduate student at Washington University in the 1980s studying under Douglass North and John Nye.
