About Susie Hodge

Susie Hodge has a passion for art education and has been teaching practical art and art history to children and adults for over 11 years. She has written over 100 books on art art history and artistic techniques including numerous titles in Search Press' How to Draw series The Short Story of Art Art in Detail: 100 Masterpieces Why Your Five Year Old Could Not Have Done That and How to Survive Modern Art. Susie is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and has worked for the Tate and the V&A museum producing booklets for visitors teachers and students. She appears on television frequently as a professional commentator on art history. Susie lives in Westcliff-on-Sea Essex.
