About Judy KronenbergerJulie Ledbetter
Judy is currently the President at Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science (GSC) located in Cincinnati Ohio. Before becoming president of GSC in 2019 she served as the Academic Dean of General Education and Allied Health with more than 20 years as a medical assistant educator and program director. She remains involved in the Ohio State Society of Medical Assistants (OSSMA) serving as president of that organization in 2011-2012 and again in 2019-2020. She is a life-long advocate for medical assistants and values them for their work with patients in the ambulatory setting and their support to physicians in their endeavor to provide excellent care to all patients. Judy holds several academic degrees including a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership (University of Dayton). She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and looks forward to many more years of advocating for all health care professionals including medical assistants whenever possible!' Julie is a Certified Medical Assistant and an active member in the Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). She is also a Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders and a Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist through the American Medical Billing Association. For more than 20 years Julie has dedicated herself to educating medical assisting students and is a MAERB/CAAHEP site surveyor for accrediting and re-accrediting medical assisting programs throughout the country. She is currently a faculty member for the Medical Assistant Technology program at Sinclair Community College Dayton Ohio. She also serves on the Advisory Committee for the Medical Assisting program at Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science in Cincinnati Ohio. When not preparing and teaching medical assisting classes Julie enjoys reading traveling and spending time with her husband of 41 years Larry and her beautiful grandchildren.
