About Elizabeth Atkins-HoodElizabeth Joy Bell

Elizabeth Atkins-Hood developed her skills in mosaics and découpage whilst living in the United States. Joy Bell worked as a commercial artist and gallery owner before opening an antiques store which provided much source material for many of her wonderful creations. Both authors were inspired to develop their unique and interesting style after being introduced to a unique glass and tile saw developed by Jesse Cogwell. They are both based in Auckland New Zealand but regularly attend the Society of American Mosaic Artists convention to enjoy the company of other mosaic fanatics.
