Neurology of COVID-19

English

Several neurological manifestations of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 viral infection (SARS-CoV-2) or Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) have previously been identified. This is the first comprehensive book to provide a detailed account of the neurological manifestations of COVID-19. The book provides up-to-date data and guidance for healthcare providers involved in the management of neurological aspects of SARS-CoV-2 infection in order to meet the new challenges related to COVID-19. The book makes reference to previously published stroke guidelines, World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations, relevant non-neurological-related professional guidelines, personal files, and expert opinions. The book summarizes existing evidence, indicates gaps in our current knowledge, and, when appropriate, formulates practical implications. See more
