On 28 June 2007, the United States and Panama signed a free trade agreement (FTA) after two and half years and ten rounds of negotiations. This book discusses the proposed U.S.-Panama Free Trade Agreement, including the adoption of enforceable labour standards, compulsory adherence to select multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs) and facilitation of developing country access to generic drugs.
