About Alcante

Alcante won a Spirou magazine script-writing competition in 1995. Since 2002 his short comics have been published regularly in Spirou. Pandora's BoxA is his first series. He is inspired by fairy tales and legends from all over the world and his influences range from Jean Van Hamme to Alan Moore. Erik Juszezak began as a commercial artist and illustrator for various publishing companies before moving on to the field of comics with OkiA in 1998 and NarvaloA in 2005. In the latter year Alcante and the Dupuis publishing company asked him to illustrate a volume of the Pandora's BoxA series.
