At the time of writing Tim Prichard has nearly 30 years' experience as a science teacher in several schools both in the UK and abroad, covering the entire age and ability range, including A level Physics and Chemistry. The author has found students revise and consolidate their knowledge best if they have access to a wide variety of worked examples to study from. Physics by Example is based upon this concept with each topic having a short introduction followed by around ten example questions. Each question has a full step by step, easy to follow solution, including hints and and tips to help the student understand the methodology for each question. At the end of each section there is a self testing exercise with answers to help the students consolidate their knowledge.
