Places We Live

This series takes a simple look at what it means to live in or by different places: a river, a desert, the sea, a valley, a city and a mountain. It examines basic geographical features, why people choose to live there and the risks people might have because of living there. The book also looks at how people adapt to living in that place and the different things both adults and children can do in their daily lives, from school, to work, to leisure. See more
