Professor Magneto and His Amazing Mechanical Man

Paperback

By (author): Joe Gillespie

''Professor Magneto and his Amazing Mechanical Man'' is a collection of short stories that will leave you in the outer realms of possibility. From an utterly bizarre circus act featuring a ''mechanical man'' to a mysterious object floating above a remote Hebridean beach; from a sinister ''white room'' where nothing is as it seems, to a battle on a lost planet. Whether you are looking for a short sci-fi parable or an intrepid voyage, these stories all have one thing in common: a twist in the tale! See more

About Joe Gillespie

Born in Belfast in 1945 Joe Gillespie won a place at The Royal College of Art and graduated with a Master''s Degree in Visual Communication. He worked in the advertising industry in London before setting up his own company Pixel Productions developing interactive multimedia. An ardent sci-fi reader he used his writing skills developed from advertising copy-writing and penned numerous short stories and longer projects that unfortunately ran out of steam due to pressure of work. Now retired to sunny Dorset he lives a less hectic life involving bird watching astronomy and catching-up on ideas to change the universe for the better.
