Space Bugs and Selfies: A story about being yourself, space bugs and farting.

English

By (author): Lex Genn

Illustrated by: Simon Collins

Lily is a wild little person, full of energy, never in one place for long and usually covered in mud. One day some sparklingly clean girls offer to be her friend, if she'll scrub up and change her look. Will Lily believe in herself enough to stay true to who she is? Or will she become another selfie-snapping princess? And who made that HORRIBLE stink upstairs? `Space Bugs and Selfies!' is a story about being yourself, loving your imagination and, of course, farting. See more

About Lex Genn

Lex Genn has been writing stories for over 20 years as well as making his living as a professional copywriter. He decided to write Space Bugs and Selfies after hearing a friend's daughter was being bullied for looking different. Reminded of the regular bullying of his childhood Lex wanted to write a story for younger children to remind them it's OK to be whoever you are regardless of what others say.
