Andrew Michael Roberts is Professor of Modern Literature in the School of Humanities at the University of Dundee. His research interests are in modernist fiction and poetry contemporary British poetry digital poetry literature and science and literature and visual culture. He was Principal Investigator for the AHRC-funded project 'Poetry Beyond Text: Vision Text and Cognition' (2009-2011) www.poetrybeyondtext.org. His books include Conrad and Masculinity (Palgrave 2000) Geoffrey Hill (Northcote House 2004) and Poetry & Ethics (Liverpool University Press forthcoming). He is Co-Director of the Centre for Poetic Innovation at the Universities of Dundee and St Andrews.
