After she was jilted by her fiancé, Sheri Huston eagerly accepted an invitation from an artist friend of her mothers to spend the summer in a small seaside town. Sheri liked her mothers friend, Jeneva Gray. And she was intrigued by several of Jenevas neighbors, especially the arrogant yet magnetic Tony Anderson, who owned a construction company, and Whit Barclay, an elusive newcomer to the area. Yet, all was not well in the little California town. Both Jeneva and Sheri got messages warning them to leave Jenevas house. There were other disturbing incidents, as well. But the most disturbing thing of all was the distinct possibility that the culprit was one of Sheris new friendsmost likely Tony or Whit.
