About

Dr Anton Ravindran CEng FBCS is the Founder and CEO of RapidStart and President of the Global Science and Technology Forum (GSTF). He is also an Adjunct Professor at Bina Nusantara University Indonesia having previously been an Adjunct Professor at Birla Institute of Technology Dubai and as Visiting Professor at the Institute for Research in Applicable Computing at the University of Bedfordshire UK. In industry he worked for IBM Computer Associates Sun Microsystems and Oracle during the early stages of his career. He has won several awards as a technopreuner and has authored and co-edited three books namely Innovations in Technology: Enhance Learning Business Review Advanced Applications and Forging Connections between Computational Mathematics and Computational Geometry. He is currently Managing Editor of the Journal on Computing (JoC) and Global Business Review (GBR). He holds a BSc an MBA and obtained a doctorate degree in Information Technology Management from the University of South Australia on an Academic Merit Scholarship. He is a chartered engineer (UK) and a fellow of the British Computer Society. He chairs and sits on professional bodies and committees. Dr Edmond Prakash is Professor and Head of Creative Technologies at Westminster School of Media Art and Design at the University of Westminster UK. He currently leads the Technology Enhanced Faculty and is responsible for promoting and embedding the use of digital technologies in research teaching and learning across the faculty. He has previously held positions at the Supercomputer Centre at the Indian Institute of Science India Nanyang Technological University Singapore Manchester Metropolitan University UK the University of Bedfordshire UK and the University of Bournemouth UK. He has also held visiting positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign USA the State University of New York-Stony Brook USA Touch Lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology USA Beijing Normal University China and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali Colombia.
