William Blake: Poetry

4.00 (8 ratings by Goodreads)

English

Visionary poet, artist and engraver William Blake is now recognised among the greatest contributors to English literature and art. His writing, often accompanied by illustrations featuring characters from his own mythology, is a multi-layered exploration of the power of the human spirit. This anthology features Blakes most popular poems, from the exquisitely lyrical Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience, the prophetic Marriage of Heaven and Hell to the rousing Jerusalem. This collection is a celebration of this master of the imagination. See more
