About Alison Kent

A native Texan Alison Kent sold one of her over fifty published works live on the Isnt It Romantic? episode of CBSs 48 Hours. The resulting novel Call Me was a Romantic Times finalist for Best First Series Book. She was nominated for the national Quill Awards for her 2005 Kensington Brava release The Beach Alibi. Striptease part of her popular gIRL-gEAR series was an RT Reviewers Choice Award nominee; and her 2009 novel No Limits was a Cosmopolitan Red Hot Read. Alison is also the author of The Complete Idiots Guide to Writing Erotic Romance. If theres a better career out there than writing Alison doesnt want to know about it as shes quite happy putting pen to paper in the backyard of her Texas home. She lives with her petroleum geologist husband three rescue dogs (one a Hurricane Katrina survivor) and a colony of not-quite-feral cats. She battles the heat each year to raise a bumper crop of tomatoes and jalapeño peppers.
