Andrea has taken up writing for children after writing poetry for adults for many years. She teaches poetry writing at university and performs her quirky poems on stage. She enjoys acting films theatre and crisps. She lives in Germany in a town close to Hamburg. Barbara has been working with children and adults with special needs for many years. She lives in Cologne with her husband and two children. She loves dancing decorating her home and having fun with her friends. She would like to live by the sea some day. A Friend Like You is her first book. Sean Julian enjoyed art from an early age focusing on potato printmaking and creating plasticine dinosaurs. Years later he studied at the Mansfield College of Art before moving to Bristol to study illustration. Being rather big and hairy himself he was always happiest illustrating big hairy creatures such as bears and gorillas. This naturally led to a career in children''''s books. He now has over twenty years'''' experience illustrating and writing for children.
