About Noel Stokoe

Noel Stokoe has been the Press Officer and Librarian of the Jowett Car Club since the mid 1980s and has already had six books published on the marque the first being published in 1999. He was born in York so is a true Yorkshireman and in view of this he is proud to own three Jowett cars as they were also produced in Yorkshire. He has also written a book showing the stunning countryside in the Whitby area which is now often referred to as 'Heartbeat Country'. Most of the pictures were taken by him while he was out and about in the Whitby area driving the Mobile Library. He lives in Sleights North Yorkshire.
