About F. Scott Fitzgerald

F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896-1940) was born in Minnesota to an upper-class Irish Roman Catholic family. A Princeton student he left before graduating to enlist in the US army during the First World War. In 1920 he married the beautiful Zelda Sayre and they became an iconic couple of their era - wild glamorous and affluent. Fitzgerald penned four novels dying before finishing a fifth. He died of a heart attack at the age of just 44.
