Urbanization Process in Cameroon: Process, Patterns & Implications

This book begins with an introduction to urban studies and urbanisation. It provides an analysis of the patterns of urbanisation which are essential for an understanding of the internal structure and development of towns in Cameroon. Furthermore, the spatial distribution and growth strength of towns in Cameroon is examined followed by discussions on urban hierarchy and the sub-urbanisation process of the country since 1976.
