About Sarah Mithen

The author Sara Mithen is married to Gerard and is Mum to Joshua a beautiful little boy. Sara has two degrees a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce. This is her first children's book. Through writing the book she wants children to understand that our world is diverse. With these seeds planted children may grow to have more understanding and tolerance of each other enabling them to contribute to making the world a happier place. The illustrator Natalie Stone is a Tasmanian Artist and Mum who has exhibited and sold her work through numerous exhibitions. She tests all her stories on her two greatest critics - her children. She has illustrated for Monkey in a Tree Counts 123 and her second book Monkey ABC is coming soon.
